Teaching and courses

I have always been interested in teaching, both to budding professionals and to the general public, who are keen to treat themselves at home or to eat more healthily.

Much of my teaching is in Universities and Colleges, but I also run short courses and take herb walks.

Teaching

Current teaching is mainly:

School of Life Sciences, University of Westminster, London. Teaching on the BSc in Herbal Medicine. This 3 -year course is aimed at serious medical herbalists who want to practise.

I join the teaching at the Vegetarian Cookery School, in Bath, UK. I teach on courses on Wild Food, and on Healthy Eating.

But I also run occasional workshops on Clinical Skills, Differential Diagnosis etc for training herbalsits and other complementary therapists. If you are interested in any of these workshops, please contact me.

I also offer one-one-tutoring on Medical Sciences and on Clinical Skills.

Courses

I offer general short courses on Home Remedies, Wild Foods, Wild    Mushrooms, and Healthy Eating.

Many of these short courses are in local Further Education Colleges. Others are in the form of  herb walks, which are arranged when opportunity and enough time coincide. The walks are most often around the Forest of Dean, in West Gloucestershire, UK, can be anywhere in the UK and sometimes abroad in Europe. I can arrange these short courses on request to suit special interests or circumstances.

There is no formal programme for these short courses but watch this page for announcements or check the News page on this site.

If you are interested in having a short course or walk arranged for you, please contact me with your request or ideas.
